More rejected dog names

Highlights from an ever growing list of rejection...

Bob
Piqqaluyungmik - Iceberg
Mike Wazowski (although you have to say it like Boo in Monsters Inc)
Glenfiddich

Cathy's current favourite, subject to change, is Jamieson. It's an Irish Whiskey she's fond of. She used to have a dog named Guinness. The current crop of Inuktitiut names just don't trip off the tongue. Go here if you want to see a list of some of the more popular dog names in Inuktituit.

Jamieson is a good dog name.

Guinness I'm not so partial to. I think there must be about a million Pugs in Toronto called Guinness.

Friends of ours have a bulldog named Hobson. Sounds like a butler's name.

Well you could call it Bailey

I like Bruce. It's a kick-ass, take-no-prisoners name. And to use it for a cute fluffy animal... Well, gives them street cred.

(I was going to name our cat Bruce, but my daughter wouldn't let me.)

The problem with Bruce is that I would keep saying it with an Aussie accent...

And Bailey is nice, but we already have a dog on my side of the family with that name.

I quite like Kimik (Inuktitut for dog) or Nilik (Inuktitut for fart).
