Dude, yo...Oh man, even I drew the line at facebook. Dude, you may actually be a teenage girl!!

No, seriously, I just can't commit to yet another social networking thingie. Lately, I hardly even have time to pop on messenger - that's a huge change. This time last year, I was an addict, going from bad to worse. Now, I turn it on if I need to ask someone a drafting question. What has become of me?Danahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14756914994989211123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10757771.post-5834176693993035522007-04-22T13:43:00.000-04:002007-04-22T13:43:00.000-04:00I am trying desperately to resist for now. If I wanted to keep in touch with anyone from elementary school, high school and university, I have.

What am I going to do, go on Facebook, read a summary on people's lives for the last 10 years, look at their pictures and then what? Will I suddenly develop relationships with 200 more people? No. We'll catch ourselves up, say "hey, great to catch up" and that's it.

Maybe I don't understand completely what it is all about, but these Bebo, Myspace, and Facebook things are fooey to me. For now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10757771.post-40525090711444621522007-04-21T22:03:00.000-04:002007-04-21T22:03:00.000-04:00Another thing! Hope you get the gist. ;)Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05148749731717557899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10757771.post-55674575052287888332007-04-21T22:00:00.000-04:002007-04-21T22:00:00.000-04:00I hear you on the 'time' thing! I have exactly enough time in my day to 1) work 2) clean/ cook 3) lesson plan 4) be a loving mother 5) bond with my husband (usually!) 6) catch up on blogs. 7) Sleep 7 hours. Not necessarily in that order. And I find that the facebook is disturbing the balance! Something gets sacrificed and I don't like that.

Also, there are people out there who just don't like - and I lost contact with - and I'm HAPPY about that. I don't want them in my life again!! :)

I think I'm going to stop facebooking. Blogs are better!Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05148749731717557899noreply@blogger.com
